The Bridge at Telfair International Academy isn’t just about academics. While it’s aimed at students who require assistance transitioning from different curriculums to the Telfair curriculum, it also provides an avenue for non-English speakers to learn and grasp the English language. The program oversees entrance exams, determining the level within our curriculum for each student. Beyond these academic bridges, The Bridge offers support in mathematics, literacy, social skills, and emotional well-being.

Importantly, our support extends beyond our regular teaching staff. We collaborate with a team of external specialists, including occupational therapists, speech therapists, and psychologists who are contracted to provide specific services to the school. Additionally, while our therapy dog plays a vital role in creating a calming learning environment, it’s essential to understand that both the dog and its handler are not staff members but professionals contracting with the school. This arrangement ensures our students receive the most specialized and tailored support available.
